Call Of Pripyat is in second to Shadow of Chernobyl for modding community. To me it is like Deep Silver made a consol version of the game and to save time, used the same consol game version, and re-bind it for the PC, and expect it to work. But I never changed they game drasticly because it dosen't work well. But I did make my own personal mod, and got the game to play crash free. This game has always tipped the scale one way to the other besides it self bugs and CTD's.
Most mods are basic mini mods that change graphics, skys, weapons. Some mods have great promise, but tend to make things worst. Because the game itself is buggy, and not mod friendly at all. Clear Sky has a low end modding community on the ground someplace. This game has had mods that go all the way back to the very first v1.0(and all the other zero's to fallow). Because modding for this game paved the way for everyone else. Shadow Of Chernobly is FIRST in the largest Modding community, it has the best and the biggest mods.
